The BeastMaster boasts an amazing 55 pounds of thermo-adjustable drag power with a 50% reduction of drag heat, so deep-water species like grouper, trevalla, swordfish and tuna will not be a problem. If the drag slips while the motor of the electric reel is on, the gear will idle and cause an abnormal heat generation in the drag portion of the reel. As a way to suppress excess heat, the speed of the motor is automatically reduced by the Thermo Adjust Drag when the drag begins to slip.
• e-Exciting Drag Sound - The e-Exciting Drag Sound is an electronic drag sound from the reel when a fish makes a run. This creates a modern solution to the mechanical clicker while adding excitement to an angler's experience.
• S A-RB  Electric - "S A-RB" Bearings are put through the same process as Shimano's A-RB bearings but feature shields on both sides of the bearings. These shields reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting rotation of the bearing.
• A-RB Electric - A-RB stainless-steel ball bearings are specially treated to drastically increase the corrosion resistance of the bearing. These bearings will last at least 10 times longer than standard stainless-steel ball bearings in high salinity environments.
