Started and operated in Queensland Australia, Brothers Jon & Niko combined their love for art and top water fishing when they started creating the first range of Malosi prototypes in Jon’s spare bedroom. Lures made in these formative years were handcrafted from timber, following a meticulous and time-consuming process developed over many years.
Following the success of their prototyping years, the brothers formally founded Malosi in 2020 and started to develop their process for sale. They spent almost two years testing developing an all-new way of building lures, one that would see all models reworked and digitised, new materials sourced and explored, new tech introduced, and a completely new production process built from the ground up.
The future of Malosi is design. The brothers' set up a robust manufacturing pipeline mirroring their process and put together a hand picked team of talented craftsman to help build their lures ensuring the high quality and standards they’ve set are upheld without compromise. They now have the freedom to focus time and talents working on a vast new range of innovative, well designed products that anglers can trust. This is what they are truly passionate about.
