Accurate - Valiant 2 Lever Drag Reels

The Accurate Valiant 2 Lever Drag Reel combines the power and control of Accurate's patented TwinDrag® system with enhanced casting performance traditionally associated with star drag reels. Built for demanding offshore applications, the Valiant 2 delivers a lightweight yet powerful platform designed for anglers who need smooth drag performance, controlled casting, and dependable operation when targeting hard-fighting gamefish.

Accurate's Xtreme Cast Control Technology (XCT®) uses a centrifugal casting design to regulate spool speed once the spool is in motion, helping maximize casting distance while minimizing backlashes. The lightweight CVX® frame is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, while precision-cut 17-4 stainless steel gears and gear shaft provide strength under heavy loads. Six ABEC-5 stainless steel bearings, a sleeved spool, stainless steel anti-reverse bearing, and Power Arm handle contribute to smooth operation, free-spool performance, and increased leverage.

The Valiant 2 also incorporates several features designed to give anglers greater control during a fight. A detent in the drag cam before free spool helps prevent accidental movement into free spool, while a push-button stop before full drag provides an additional safeguard when increasing drag pressure. Combined with the DirecShift® system for seamless gear changes and TwinDrag® carbon fiber drag washers acting on both sides of the spool, the Valiant 2 is engineered for precise control from the cast through the fight.
