Black's - Outrigger Ball Stops

The Black’s Outrigger Ball Stops are designed to control and protect your outrigger system by maintaining clip placement from the outrigger tip or other positions. These plastic ball stops prevent outrigger clips from traveling too close to the tip of the outrigger or the desired position on the rigger, helping preserve consistent spread positioning and preventing unnecessary stress or tangling at any outrigger position loop or hole (for internal riggers).

In addition to positioning control along the rigger, ball stops can also be installed at the base of the outrigger near the halyard lock or pulley. In this position, they act as a protective stopper for tag line returns, reducing impact and helping prevent damage to the halyard lock or pulley assembly during deployment and retrieval.

Constructed from durable nylon plastic, these stops offer improved longevity compared to traditional cork alternatives. The center hole accepts monofilament or nylon halyard lines, making them compatible with most standard outrigger systems used for offshore trolling targeting tuna, mahi, marlin, sailfish, and wahoo.
