Daiwa - Harrier-X Jigging Rods - Conventional

The Daiwa Harrier-X Conventional Jigging Rod is a versatile saltwater jigging rod for both modern and traditional jigging techniques. It’s designed to fish flutter jigs and knife jigs as well as traditional treble hook jigs. In Southeast and Northeast fisheries, it’s well suited to all types of bottom fish jigging, and in Northwest fisheries it’s a strong choice for halibut, lingcod and rockfish.

The blank is built with Daiwa’s HVF (High Volume Fiber) Carbon Technology, which combines precise resin control with unidirectional graphite fiber for high graphite density. The result is a blank that’s sensitive, light, responsive and tough enough for coastal fishing. X-45 bias construction resists twisting, so the rod loads evenly for a more powerful bend.

Fuji Tangle-Free K-Guides are durable, pay out line freely and rarely tangle, even with braid. A sturdy EVA grip gives a secure hold, and a Fuji Backstop reel seat keeps the reel connection tight during regular use. A lightweight graphite GRC butt cap reduces weight without giving up strength. A hook keeper stores the jig safely, and the rod is backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
