Daiwa - Harrier-X Jigging Rods - Spinning

The Daiwa Harrier-X Spinning Jigging Rod is a versatile saltwater spinning rod for both modern and traditional jigging techniques. It’s built to fish flutter jigs and knife jigs as well as traditional treble hook jigs. It’s well suited to all types of bottom fish jigging in Southeast and Northeast fisheries, and to jigging for halibut, lingcod and rockfish in the Northwest.

The blank uses Daiwa’s HVF (High Volume Fiber) Carbon Technology, which pairs precise resin control with unidirectional graphite fiber for high graphite density. That makes the blank sensitive, light and responsive, and durable enough for the demands of coastal fishing. X-45 bias construction resists twisting and helps the rod load evenly for a more powerful bend.

The spinning rod has Fuji Tangle-Free K-Guides that pay out line freely and rarely tangle, even with braid. A sturdy EVA grip gives a secure hold, and the Fuji Backstop reel seat keeps the reel locked in place during regular use. A graphite GRC butt cap keeps weight down without giving up strength. A built-in hook keeper and a 5-year limited warranty round out the Harrier-X.
