The FishLab Mad Eel Soft Swimbait is designed as a versatile jigging and search bait for coastal and inshore saltwater fishing. From the Cape Cod Canal to Florida offshore waters and Southern California kelp beds, its streamlined profile and pronounced swimming action allow anglers to cover water effectively across a wide range of environments.

A heavy side-to-side body roll creates increased water displacement, making the Mad Eel well suited for low-light conditions, moving water, and stained water. Ribbing along the belly further increases water movement, while the specially designed jig hook helps maintain a secure connection during hard runs and head shakes.

The Mad Eel incorporates several features for consistent rigging. Replacement bodies include a front chamber that helps align the jig head and accommodates adhesive for added security, while a hook exit reference point helps position the hook correctly so the bait tracks straight. Each package includes one jig head and two soft plastic bodies.
