Grundens - Patch Kit

The Grundens Patch Kit has everything you need to keep your bibs or jackets water tight, and ready for your next endeavor.

With easy to read instructions included, multiple colors to keep your clothing matching, and all the tools you need, this kit is a no-brainer.

For Actual Holes:

1. Create a backing on the PVC side of the fabric with tape, such as cellotape or similar lightweight tape.
2. Apply a thin layer of Aquasure to the inside of the fabric of the garment, overlapping the edges of the hole by at least 1.5 cm.
3. Using one of the fabric patches enclosed, cover the distressed area, being sure that you apply the lining side of the patch to the lining side of the garment. That's right, with this patch , the PVC of the patch will actually be facing inside.
4. Apply a slight pressure such as a pan full of water, a large book, etc. Keep the repaired area under pressure and level for 10-14 hours. Aquasure will perform properly even if the affected areas are wet.

For Small Tears:

1. Create a backing on the PVC side of the fabric with tape, such as cellotape or similar lightweight tape.
2. Fill the void of the tear from the inside of the fabric with Aquasure, 0.5cm beyond the edge of the tear.
3. Keep the repaired area level for 10-14 hours.
4. When Aquasure is completely dry, carefully remove the backing tape.
