Hogy - Charter Grade OG Swimmer

The Hogy Charter Grade OG Swimmer is a shallow-running subsurface plug designed as a modern interpretation of classic fat-bodied Finnish-style swimmers from the 1970s and 80s. Built with a wide-shouldered profile and compact lip, the OG Swimmer is intended to imitate larger forage while maintaining a controlled, high-riding swimming action.

Traditional Finnish swimmers are known for their small lips, which allow them to track close to the surface and move cleanly over shallow structure. The OG Swimmer follows this design philosophy, making it well suited for fishing rocky shorelines, boulder fields, reef edges, and other areas where deeper-diving plugs may snag.

The compact lip and turned-down line tie create a steady side-to-side wobble that closely resembles an injured or disoriented baitfish. This subtle motion keeps the lure in the strike zone longer, particularly when fish are feeding near the surface or holding tight to structure.
