For the best results, add an additional tray for the bottom of the cooler to pack with ice below the trays holding bait. If the ice melts, the stackable design of the trays will eliminate the possibility of your baits sitting in water as they're protected by the bottom tray. Alternatively, loosen your train plug to allow water drain from the bottom of the bait cooler throughout the day, and maintain ice levels on the bottom periodically.
