Megabass - Big Gabot Frog

The Megabass Big Gabot Frog is a heavy-cover topwater frog engineered for precise presentations around pads, vegetation, and other dense cover. Its patented CATAMARAN MOUTH bites into the water with each twitch, producing a splashy walk-the-dog action with tight directional changes that allow anglers to work small openings and key pockets without moving the bait far from the target area.

A custom heavy-cover hook was designed specifically for the Big Gabot, with the hook bend, angle, and wire diameter optimized for dependable hookups and secure fish control around cover. The specially formulated body balances structural durability with the compression needed during a strike, while redesigned internal components support consistent performance throughout demanding frog-fishing applications.

The CATAMARAN MOUTH also generates an airy popping sound and surface disturbance, while the rear-mounted, hand-tied skirt adds lifelike movement and helps maintain a balanced walking action. An internal silicone seal limits water intake, allowing the Big Gabot to maintain its intended action with less interruption when working extended stretches of productive cover.
