Back in 2021, NLBN challenged the popular opinion regarding "what is a swim bait". They sought out a lure effective in both salt and fresh water; a swim bait that could be fished with no weight and would swim naturally when paused, yet could be pulled on top to create a wake without blowing out.

A weedless bait capable of navigating through heavy cover and rocks, characterized by a subtle kicking action and a natural profile. NLBN envisioned a bait that could be fished weightlessly in slack water or cast into currents with heavy-duty jig heads. A lure that simply did not exist and after three years of testing and tweaking, NLBN is proud to offer a new era in soft plastic swim baits: their K-Tail.
