Rapala - Countdown Minnow

The Rapala Countdown Minnows are sinking balsa lures designed to give anglers precise control over fishing depth. Sinking at a consistent rate of approximately one foot per second, the Countdown makes it easy to repeatedly reach suspended fish, work above vegetation, or target fish holding near bottom structure.

Built from premium balsa wood with a weighted design, the Countdown produces Rapala's signature slow-rolling swimming action when retrieved. Anglers can simply count the lure down to the desired depth before beginning the retrieve, making it a versatile option for systematically covering different sections of the water column.

Suitable for both casting and trolling, the Countdown Minnow is a versatile multi-species lure for freshwater and select saltwater applications. Each lure is equipped with VMC Black Nickel round-bend hooks and is hand-tuned and tank-tested to provide consistent swimming performance straight out of the box.
