Rapala - X-Rap Magnum 40

The Rapala X-Rap Magnum 40 is a deep-diving saltwater trolling lure designed to run true straight out of the box without additional tuning. Its oversized diving lip takes the lure to a preset running depth of approximately 40 feet without added weights or planers, allowing the lure to maintain its intended swimming action. It is an especially effective deep-running trolling option for striped bass in New England.

Built for inshore and offshore trolling applications, the X-Rap Magnum 40 can be trolled at speeds up to 13 knots. Its textured translucent body, internal holographic foil, and 3D holographic eyes create a detailed baitfish presentation, while select patterns feature a colored diving lip for additional visibility.

Saltwater-ready construction includes heavy-duty 3X split rings and VMC 4X Perma Steel hooks for dependable performance around powerful fish. With its 40-foot running depth, high-speed trolling capability, and big-water color patterns, the X-Rap Magnum 40 provides anglers with a durable option for presenting a diving plug deeper in the water column.
