TN-Tackle - Fluorocarbon Ballyhoo Pin Rigs

TN-Tackle Fluorocarbon Ballyhoo Pin Rigs provide a ready-to-fish foundation for rigging ballyhoo in offshore trolling spreads. Each rig uses a 10-foot fluorocarbon leader for a low-visibility presentation with dependable abrasion resistance, making it particularly useful in clear water, bright conditions, or whenever a more subtle presentation is preferred.

A wire pin helps position the ballyhoo securely, while a 1/2 oz egg sinker provides chin weight to help balance the bait and maintain a consistent swimming presentation at trolling speeds. Each rig is finished with an upgraded stainless steel Southern Tuna hook for the strength needed when trolling for tuna, mahi, and other offshore pelagic species.

Two hook sizes allow anglers to match the rig to different ballyhoo sizes. The 8/0 is recommended for Medium and Select Ballyhoo, while the 9/0 is suited for Select and Horse Ballyhoo.
