Tsunami - Trophy II Surf Rods

Tsunami Trophy II Surf Series uses the tough, high performance carbon fiber blend proven for several seasons in the Tsunami Trophy Jigging rods, the new surf blanks are lighter, tougher, stronger and more resilient than the prior designs. 

Using the tough, high performance carbon fiver blend proven for several seasons in the original Trophy series, the new surf blanks are lighter, stronger, and more resilient than the prior designs.

Each high density graphite fiber blank delivers greater strength, more power for casting or fighting, improved toughness for use in all conditions and a smaller diameter blank for easy, all day handling. This blank construction was proven in use on the highly successful Trophy Jigging Rods for three years before being used in the Trophy II Surf Rods. Extensive testing of the first of these new surf rods showed the new construction was truly a winner on the beach.

A new offset, 70/30 ferrule system delivers plenty of strength and a one-piece feel in casting lures or bait and in fighting big fish. The quick and easy F3 Friction Fit Ferrule system can lock the guides in perfect alignment almost instantly and keep them there all day. All models are mounted with foul resistant, braid-proof guides for smooth line flow and no wear even under the high strength braids in use today and the tough, high gloss epoxy thread coating will keep them perfectly positioned. Reel seats are all light, corrosion proof graphite with cushioned, stainless steel hoods for long life and ease of use. Vinyl shrink grips match the new thinner diameter blanks and keep the Trophy II Surf Rods light and comfortable in hand all day long!
