Z-Man - SMH Jighead

The Z-Man SMH Jighead is a shaky-style finesse jighead designed by Z-Man pro Brian “B.Lat” Latimer to pair specifically with the SMH WormZ. Its streamlined head shape, pointed nose, and angled line tie are designed to move cleanly through grass and brush while allowing the jighead to pivot naturally along the bottom and work over rocks and other structure.

A smooth oval head profile helps the SMH Jighead skip beneath docks, laydowns, and other overhanging cover, while the slightly recessed hook eye adds snag resistance. The head geometry is also designed to complement the SMH WormZ and allow its buoyant tail section to move freely during subtle shaky head presentations.

Each SMH Jighead is built around a custom 4/0 black nickel round-bend needlepoint hook with medium-wire construction suited for fishing 6- to 15-pound line. A welded wire keeper securely holds ElaZtech soft plastics in position while remaining easy to rig, creating a purpose-built finesse combination when paired with the Z-Man SMH WormZ.
